Ulka Simone Mohanty

Ulka Simone Mohanty is a dancer/choreographer, actor, voiceover artist and chef.   She has trained extensively in several Indian classical dance forms, martial arts, yoga and theatre, and has performed and toured throughout Canada, United States, UK and India. She has choreographed multiple works for Disney, most recently including Up! A Great Bird Adventure at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom as well as the nighttime spectacular Rivers of Light. She is an actor in film and TV, and has also appeared as a competing chef on the Food Network. 

She has voiced numerous video games, shows and audiobooks, and is the voice of the recurring role of Dr. Kapur on NBC/Universal’s children’s show Nina’s World, which was awarded the prestigious Humanitas Prize. 

Ulka is drawn to storytelling in all forms and is excited and happy to have the opportunity to share her creativity through performance and arts education.
